At a Open Source Schools Unconference in Nottingham last year I presented on the topic of Green Computing, providing an introduction to the subject and discussing why schools need to be aware of this emerging agenda.

I was at the Handheld Learning Conference last year and one of the speakers was James Paul Gee*. He started to discuss the interesting concept of what he calls an Affinity Network. He defines Infinity networks to have the follow characteristics:
